MK62 adding more satellites?
Hello, Is it possible to add additional satellites to the MK62 Nighthawk Mesh system? I've looked around, and it doesn't appear that the satellite is sold separately. Is it possible to configure ...

Hello dondale,
You certainly can! One router will need to be in wireless access point mode. However, the request for an additional satellite to be available for purchase is a request our product teams have considered. At this moment we do not have any further details on if/when a separate satellite would be available.
Stay tuned!

Thanks so much, Christian! As a followup question: Is it possible to connect all three satellites to the router via Ethernet, through a switch?
Thanks again for your time and attention.

Hi Enrique407,
You will need to set the second router as a wireless access point.

- iamckDec 18, 2020GuideHey
I’m trying to do the exact same thing? Has anyone instructions on how to do this? I can’t figure it out at all?
I have it connected over cable to the original router (as it fails the add satellite sync thing) so I can get it an ip 10.0.0.28 but I can’t log into it to set it as an access point which I assume is what I need to do?
I finally got the second satellite working after 30 tries but just need the router as the third!
Any help very much appreciated.- ChrismerchJan 02, 2021InitiateAccess point is not the same, it doesn’t join the mesh network and I am forced to change the WiFi name. This needs to be fixed, how is it possible that this isn’t supported. It’s such a basic concept and it can rectified with an update. The MR60 should have Router Mode and Satellite mode. Can someone offer insight if there will be new firmware that can resolve this? It’s almost $500 worth of hardware that I’ll be forced to return to the store in exchange for something that doesn’t restrict this such as Eeros. It’s clear that I’m not the only person with this issue :(
