MK63 Connection to TV and Chromecast

Model: MK63

Hardware Version: MR60

Firmware Version: V1.0.6.102_2.0.45

 

Issue: Can't see chromecast and TV when connected to satellites

 

I'm sure this is not new, but I've yet to find a solution that works for me.

 

My Chromecast and TV are connected to one of the two satellites. The problem is that neither my Chromecast nor TV are visible to my phone when my phone is connected to the satellites. Casting from devices that are connected to the main node works fine. All search results point to AP isolation issue, which doesn't seem to be a feature on MK63. Is there anything else I can try before giving up on this set?

 

I've tried:

- UPnP is enabled

- no AP isolation settings

- Tried to force my TV and chromecast onto 2.4GHz, but couldn't disable 5GHz 

- Guest network not enabled

 

While I'm ranting here, my Sonos speakers keep dropping conenctions too, which never happened when I had Google Wifi before.
