MK63 DHCP isn't designate IP address to devices

Hello ,

We have here Mesh system MK 63 ( one router and two satellites), they support around 70 devices, everything was OK till next week we had electricity Cut Off and since then half of the devices can't connect to the Mesh network ( they are in rang ).

Even iPhone or Android devices face the same issue, can connect to the network.

How many devices MK 63 can support ?, are 70 too much ?

Can I delete all the devices in the cache memory and release all the DHCP address ?

Any idea how can I refresh the system ?, I reset it to factory setting and configured it from scratch ( with the same SSID), got the same results, I replaced the router from another system and re-configured it , still the same problem.

Any advise will appreciated.

TNX, Gady

Power cuts can confuse the network when it comes back on. You  might try restarting things in the required order.

Power cuts usually take out both the modem and the router on a network. When the power comes back on, they may start up in the wrong order, with the router starting before the modem is ready. That means that they get confused about which is in charge.

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:

    • Turn off and unplug modem.
    • Turn off router and computers.
    • Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    • Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    • Turn on computers and rest of network.

If you still have problems, what firmware version do you have on the MR60?

A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
