MK84 (AX1800) Mesh Network
I'm concerning adding a MK84 to create a mesh network in my home. I currently have a AX6000 (RAX80). My house is roughly 4000 sq ft/2 story. My router is located in my downstairs master bedroom. Any...
Here's what I'd do.
Leave the RAX80 in router mode with the wifi on.
connect the MK84 to it with the MK84 in access point mode.
Just make sure the rax and the mk are using different wifi channels to prevent interference. (and different ssid's).
that allows you to connect devices that are close to the RAX to it. It has a higher throughput than the MK's. plus it allows you to use it as a backup. Or even to offload the IoT devices if you want. Plenty of opportunities with it.
