MK93S system having slow upload speeds
Hello. I have a 300/300 Mbps network plan with Verizon and an MK93S mesh system, but speed tests on my wireless devices show upload speeds to be much slower than download speeds. Compared to my older...

Hey, my ONT is the Nokia G-211M-C, and I’m wiring the main node to the modem using the ethernet cable that came in the box with the mesh routers. I’m not sure if the ethernet cable is the issue, especially since other devices hardwired to the router have the full 300/300 Mbps speeds.
My home is around 2500 sqft and 3 floors, with the main node on the second floor and the satellites and the first and third floors, around 30 feet in distance apart.
Yes, the issue persists with the satellites turned off.
My channels are set to 11, 48, and 37 respectively for 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and 6Ghz.
I’ve made sure MAC address randomizers were set off for the devices I’ve been testing.
All of the following “extra” services like Armor, IPv6, and traffic meter have already been turned off.
What’s confusing to me is that the mesh setup I had prior to using this current Nighthawk setup had the nodes placed in the same exact spots and, despite being a much older dual-band 5G model, had a much faster upload speed compared to now.
Any other troubleshooting information/steps would be appreciated. Thanks.

What brand and model# are these wifi devices?
Where did you get FW vV1.0.2.46 from?

I’ve been testing using my iPhone 16, an M4 iPad Pro, two M1 iPad Airs, and an A14 iPad. I know not all of these devices support WiFi 6e—the iPhone 16 and M4 iPad Pro do—but they all display generally the same upload speeds (the devices supporting WiFi 6e are marginally better, around 85-90 Mbps upload give or take). For the sake of testing, they were all connected to the main router rather than the satellites.

Also, I found the firmware version through a prompt in the Nighthawk app when I was setting up the mesh system for the first time. It said that a firmware update was required, and when I did so they had updated automatically to 1.0.2.46.

Ok, I don't see it on the main download site for the 90 series. Possible NG maybe rolling out something new and hasn't fully posted it yet. I'll check on this.
Had the speed been to spec before you updated to new FW?

I hadn’t been able to test the speed before updating because the app didn’t give me an option to ignore the update, so I was forced to use the new firmware out of the box. But this was around 2 weeks ago, so it’s strange to see that the update is not available on the main download site. This might be the cause of the issue—can you provide me a link to where the current firmware downloads are listed? I’ll try downgrading my firmware to see if that fixes the issue.
