MR60 signal dropouts on Wifi
I have a home office with a cabled connection to the modem as well as a MR60 with 2 satellites. My family have been reporting that they are losing the wifi signal at times even though I am not having...
Apologies for the delay - I have been away over Christmas.
Modem is technicolor tg789vac v2 which came with the nbn connection.
In relation to my comment about broadcasting 5G, I have realised that is all my mobile can see. However it is broadcasting 2.4G which I can see on the Nighthawk app.

That is a combined modem/router.

So you have that as well as the MR60.
Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local address problems. Among other things, the other router can misdirect addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.

Unless you have specific reasons for using two routers – to create two separate networks for example – it is often easier to use just one router and then to set up the second router as a wifi access point. Netgear advises this, as does just about every site you will visit.
It may be possible to put the modem/router into modem only (bridge) mode and then to use the second device as the router.

As this is an NBN thing, using DSL, be warned that some ISPs have been playing ar0und with their implementation of DSL. You might benefit from some local Advice.
