MR60 WAP Backhaul
Back during COVID I bought a Nighthawk MR60 +2x MS60 to replace my aging and unsupported (2009) WNDR4500. I only got around to doing the install today :-( The MR60 is in Wirless Access Point mode,...

I appreciate you all taking time to reply. Here is what I did. As I was out yesterday evening, before I left, I took the MS60's a plugged one in the office at the east end of the main floor(so while it's circa 100ft from the MR60, there are no walls etc.).
I took the second MS60 to the basement where it was plugged into the wall below and possibly less than 20ft vertical from the MR60.
Much to my surprise, after starting up, both MS60's turned blue and provide an excellent signal and service. Most of our devices use ethernet and so they wifi network is only really to provide wifi to a few cellphones, a doorbell and a garage door and they seem more than good enough at that for now.
All-in-all an excellent solution so far.

FrumpyGrandpa is correct. They don't like going through the wan port through another router for the backhaul.
The MK60 series were just gigabit. You could snag any number of cheap gigabit switches so you ensured you had enough ports. And I'd encourage a wired backhaul. the MK60 series were the cheapest of the mesh systems and having a wired backhaul really helped them perform better.
