sorry for the confusion. basically we lost power last night and when everything was finally restored I noticed that the wifi on my phone was not connected, so I went into my setting and selected my netgear WIFI which was setup for auto-connect. My S20 can not connect to the network, but when I check the nighthawk app I can connect to the router and test the speed so I am a bit perplexed how that is happening. all of the other devices in the house are connected to the mesh system and are working properly its just my phone so I just don't know how to rectify this because when I try to connect to the network it just spins and then says cant obtain IP address. I have forgotten the network and tried to re-enter the password which has worked in the past, but as of this morning I still can not connect with my older android. does this help at all ?

Me too.
Does the Nighthawk App show the router as on Anywhere Access or Local Connection?
