MR80 + 2 MS80 stopped working

After 3 months of working without a problem, MS80s will no longer sync with my MR80. The MR80 works perfectly with WAN and LAN but refuses to find the MS80s.

I have tried:
- Reset all 3 devices and set up a new network
- Connect Mac+MS80 using ethernet, log into web interface, downgrade firmware, and upgrade again to latest version

Any ideas?

What version of FW is on the MR and if you can check whats on the MS?

MS need to have same version of FW as the MR.

Are you trying to factory reset and setup from scratch with the MS near or same room as the MR?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

      Versions are both 1.1.6.14.3.1.101.

I didn’t want to factory reset anything. That was a last resort when satellites would no longer connect to the router. I tried leaving the satellites in the same locations where they had been for months and they wouldn’t connect. So I brought one into the office where the router sits and nothing.

I have BlueStream Fiber (which ends in cable between last node and house) so I have a Motorola 32x8 DocSis 3.1 modem.

I would bring the MS to the same room and the MR and factory reset and setup from scratch while the MS are in same room or near the MR.

Ok, Interesting. Wondering if it could be a distance thing maybe.

What is the SQ Ft of your home?

I'm finding the MK system to be kind of interesting. I had to turn OFF one of my MS that was ethernet connected. Found one of my iphones kept saying it was connected to the wifi but no internet on the screen. Also my Apple TV unit would not get connected to the system until I rebooted the MR and 3 daisy chained LAN switches after I found that the MRs web page wouldn't respond after I tried enabling debug logging and tried to collect he logs. ATV connected after everything was power cycled. Not sure if I should turn on the 2nd MS or not. Otherwise system has been working ok.

      Man! So complicated!

      House is 3,800 sqft.

For me, the living room MS is where the PS5 is hardwired. Then when it acts up, the PS5 doesn’t automatically fail over onto the wifi; I have to manually change it.

Where the Nighthawk shines is in the quantity/quality of devices. I have 40 devices in total and quality has never been an issue. My NVR system alone has 8 hardwired cameras and 6 wifi ones. Those 6 wifi ones feed 4k footage into the NVR 24/7 and they cause no bandwidth issues for the rest of the devices. I couldn’t get that kinda quality of network from the 1st get EERO.

Fingers crossed the Nighthawk works out.

OK, so is both MS ethernet connected to the MR or mixed wired and wireless?
What Brand and model Switch do you have in between the MR and MS?

What CAT# LAN cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.
