I gave it a try.
Powered off the MR80 device. Then cabled it to a laptop. The device was not accessible by the IP address, 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.3.2. I then tried www.routerlogin.net and .com to no avail. Finally I ran nmap against the MR80. In all cases it "failed to determine route to" the IP address. I scanned 192.168.*.*.
After trying to access the MR80 I cabled back to the firewall. The LED is still orange. The satellite's LED is blue. The Wifi operates perfectly and I could login to its webgui.

I just reread my findings and noticed a glaring error.
I stated that I could login to the device. I left out that the device I can access through the webgui is the satellite device not the router. The router is still inaccessible.

Any progress on this?
So even after a full on factory reset of the MS and MR and setup the MR from scratch with the MR not connected to anything, can you access the MR at 192.168.1.1 with a ethernet connected PC? - jakochApr 05, 2025Aspirant

I have given up and will close this out
I have purchased a new mesh system by another manufacturer
