the surface is the only device with issues?
What wireless chip is in it and what driver does that chip have installed?
Yes the surface is the only one having the issue. It is a work provided laptop and I am unable of the wireless chip or what driver the chip has installed. Any idea how I determine that? I apologize but I am not a computer guru.......thanks!
go to your device manager.
then network adapters.
That should display your list of adapters. Pick the wireless one (should have a model)
right click on it--->properties--->driver
