Are you saying that these products are not designed to be used like this? Most of the time they work exactly as I need, it's just the intermittent loss of internet over LAN to my main PC that's causing the issue.
No. That's fine. It just helps to know what we are talking about here.
Router + Router =complications.
Router + Satellite = as designed.
That rules out possible sources of problems.

It may take a bit of troubleshooting to pin down the problem. It doesn't seem obvious that the router has anything to do with it.
You may have to eliminate things like LAN problems on the PC.
It is all too easy to blame the router when other factors can be involved. Like drivers on the PC. Or even Windows itself.

Understood!
I'm open to any suggestions you might have, as I am at a bit of a loss at this point. Being that I've gone as far as reinstalling Windows on completely new hardware after rebuilding my PC, I'm just not sure what else could possibly be the issue if it is related to my PC or installation of Windows.

Reinstalling Windows sounds like overkill. It isn't something that has come up here, mostly because routers really don't care about the computers that connect to them.
It is usually the other way round. Problems can arise when the computer can't play nicely with things connected to it. But it is usually down to a minor setting rather than at the OS level.
This is why a first suggestion is the check the public/private network setting in Windows.

Intermittently my PC will not be able to obtain internet through my LAN connection, but the Wifi works fine. Even everything else wired to the hub works fine, including a Windows laptop wired to the hub.
This suggests that Windows is mostly happy.
When just one device, your PC's LAN connection plays up, that also points away from the router,
It is hard trying to pin down intermittent problems.
Have you tried checking the router's logs when this issue crops up? Is there any pattern to it?
