Apologies, my wording might have came across oddly. I referred to the MR60 as the Main router, as it's the point that plugs into the modem (Spectrum D3.1 eMTA DOCSIS 3.1 Advanced Voice Modem, couldn't find a model number). The firmware is 1.1.7.134_2.0.65 on both the MR60 and both satellites. The satellite is connected wirelessly to the hub, which I assume is where the problem lies. Yes. "Wired backhaul" is a better option, if it doesn't mean digging a trench through the middle of the house or tearing down walls.
I use Powerline Ethernet but that doesn't suit everyone. I am stuck with VDSL Internet.
You have the newest firmware. So no problems on that front.

I may be able to run an ethernet backhaul cable. I already have a hole drilled down into the crawlspace for one cable, cant hurt to put another down there!
