Nighthawk Satellites Are Not Connecting To Replacement MR60 Router
MK63|(1) MR60 Router (2) MS60 Satellites|Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System
My Nighthawk MR60 was RMA'd. I installed its replacement MR60 router and the Wi-Fi network came up with access to the Internet. However, the two existing MS60 salellites are showing an orange LED and no device nearby can connect to the Internet through the satellites anymore. It seems the existing MS60 satellites cannot connect to the new MR60 router.
Things I tried:
To make the process seamless I gave the new MR60 the same SSID and password previsously used.
I cycled power on the MS60 satellites.
I pressed the 'sync' button on the MS60 satellites even though I neve got a blue LED on the satellites when attempting to connect to the new MR60 router.
Thank you,
Jeff

Whats the FW loaded on the MR?
Could it be the FW loaded on the MS is not the same version as whats on the MR? They need to be on same version of FW.
Try this to see if this works:
Manual MS FW update after MR was updated:
You need to update the MS before updating the MR. Keep this in mind for future updates. What you need to do is factory reset the MS. Wire connect a PC to the 1st satellite📡. Already have the most current FW version files downloaded on to this PC.
Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the MS. Factory reset the MS, wait about 5 minutes. The PC will get a IP address from the satellite📡. The RBS will be 192.168.1.250. Use this IP address in a web browser to log in to the satellites web page. Log in as admin and password. Use the satellites 📡 web page FW update feature to select the FW update file that was unpacked from the .zip file. Then factory reset and then re-sync the satellites 📡 to the MR.
