Nighthawks M60 speed is 1/3 over wireless compared to connected directly to the router.
Speed tests read 125 MB at best. Router says 350mb. That's what i get with a PC hardwired. I do not have a very big house. I have the router in the basement, 2 on each end of the first floor, and the 3rd in the middle of upstairs. I have cycled through the 5G channels and it appears 36,40 work the best. Any ideas as to what to try next? Also, what is the best way to test each channel?
Thanks
Thanks. Moved it to the 2nd floor and its perfect. Just have to figure out how to redistribute the satellites. Thanks!

Basements are not recommended locations for the main router unit. All that concrete and steel will inhibit good wifi signal travel and coverage to the MS that maybe connected. Main level or 2nd level is recommended for the main MR unit.
Depends on client device design and support as well. 2x2 MIMO is more limiting on speed and performances seen than 4x4 MIMO devices.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
