Nodes won't connect at one location
I have TWO MK60 3-node mesh systems, one at home, one at a local garage. Both have firmware v1.1.7.134_2.0.65. Both have worked flawlessly for many years. Then we had a storm. My home system was fine, but the satellites at the garage stopped connecting. The main router worked, but the satellites were constantly amber ... even next to the router ... even after trying to reconnect ... even after factory resetting satellites and trying to reconnect ... even after factory resetting router and trying to reconnect. Reconnect sometimes says "timed out" and sometimes says "connected" but never does actually connect (no blue light on a satellite and app/web-interface says "disconnected"). Then I reset my home system and brought it to the garage. It acted the same. Then I took the garage system home, and it worked fine (satellites connected and everything worked as it should). Back at the garage, neither system works. I don't see any interference at the garage, although all I have is a "wifi analyzer" app. I'm an Electrical Engineer with an emphasis in Communications (although I went from there to being a small-town technician), but this doesn't compute. Can someone give me some suggestions?

If both systems work at home and neither in the garage, I'd be highly suspicious of something in the garage creating either electrical or radio interference.
do they work if the satellites are hardwired to the router?

That's my thought as well. I did put one node on a backhaul line for a moment to confirm that worked. But on wifi, it doesn't matter if they're 2-inches apart or 10-feet apart, they just won't connect to the main node (at the garage). The interference would have to be pretty severe for wifi not to travel 2 inches, but I guess that is possible. What app/device would I need to check for interference in this situation?

I'm not even sure because it could be a wide band interference.
got a backup power supply? Kill power to the garage and run the system off the backup power supply. See if something didn't get fried (like a microwave) that's sending interference.
does your phone hotspot have issues if you try to connect something to it in the garage?
