One unit not connected
Hi Just installed the Nighthawk Mesh Wi-Fi 6 and everything went fantastic with all connection, except for one. A Dell laptop with Windows 8.1. When I click on connection to view all connection...
Something to contact the mfr of this laptop about.
Ask the mfr about updating any wifi adapter drivers.
Ask about a wifi adapter upgrade.

Not really, your router doesn't care about your operating system.

Did that "Troubleshooting" include Network Troubleshooting in Windows?
Windows likes to protect us from new networks that might be evil. In reality, it often shuts us out of safe networks.
One thought is that you could tell Windows that you are on a "private network".
- Network and Internet settings
- Network Status
- Change Connection Properties
- Network Profile
- Private
I'm told that this is rubbish advice. But it has worked for me and others in the same boat.
Something like this in newer Windows, but not wildly different from your version.
If that doesn't work, maybe you could tell us a bit more about your network.
It might help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
