MR70/MS70, no wired backhaul?

Funny turn of events: ignoring user manual step number 1 for access point mode:
Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Internet port of this router to an Ethernet port on the other router.
leads to my desired result :D I connected the MR70 to the switch with the LAN port on MR70 side, not the internet/WAN port. Then synced wirelessly with the MS70. I then moved the MS70 into place and plugged in utp and it was found as a satellite. Everything works as desired, except for the MR70 showing an orange led for no internet but thatś not true, everything works!
