Red LED - Nighthawk Mesh System
The LED on my main transmitter and one of the satellite transmitters is red. The troubleshooting guide states that a blinking red LED indicates firmware corruption but doesn’t say anything about solid red. How do I fix this issue?
- It turned out that my internet provider has a major outage and that was causing my issue

What model MESH system do you have?
Anything you can tell us that you've done to resolve this issue?
Can you access the routers web page at 192.168.1.1 after trying a factory reset? Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.- It turned out that my internet provider has a major outage and that was causing my issue
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
