Router hiccups?
My Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi 6 Mesh Router(MR80) seems to be having internal hiccup problems. Sonos will disconnect, the security cameras will disconnect, the Alexis throughout the house will disconnec...

It looks like my firmware is up-to-date and consistent across the router and satellites. This really seems to be my wireless continuously switching on my devices for some reason.
The signal is very strong, and my download upload speeds are consistent with what they've always been. But my devices seem to be going back and forth on my wireless network.
I do not broadcast my SSID. I was running a guest network for a while, but I have disabled that.

about the only question you answered was what firmware you're on.
You don't actually describe what you're seeing other than they appear to be going back and forth.
And you didn't put what modem/gateway you're connected to.
Its really hard to help off limited info.
If this is a new device, you can always contact support and use the free 90 days of support.
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.
And hiding your ssid only really hurts your setup. Any hacker that knows enough to hack in, is going to find a hidden ssid easily.

Sorry about that. I am a novice at most of this. I do not have a modem, I assume by Gateway you mean the dynamic ISP from my provider? It is a DHCP connection. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
I have enabled the broadcast of my SSID. Good to know that I am not fooling anybody and only being a pain in the ass to my friends who want to connect to my network.
I assume that a mesh system meant that 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz was seamless but it seems that my wireless devices are switching now. I cannot think of any updates or changes that I have made to cause an issue with this.
I called support today, and I am exactly 94 days from purchase.

The router get's the internet from something. Normally there is a device it plugs into. This might be something in your garage or in a closet in an apartment though, and all you see is an ethernet port on your wall you were told to use. The type of service might point to what kind of device too (cable, fiber, what company it's with, etc).
The reason they're asking is many of those are also a router. And putting a router behind a router can cause issues.
How do you know your device is doing anything? That supposed switching networks or whatever...

I think the issue is resolved. I repositioned the 2 satellites and re-sync them. Things a been solid for almost a full day now so I think that must've been the problem.
