Using an MR60 as a satellite
I recently bought a Nighthawk WiFi 6 mesh 2-pack (router mr60 and satellite ms60) right now these are $99 at Sam's Club. I find that I could use another 1 or 2 satellites but they are priced at $129 or more for each one.
In another, CLOSED, thread it was stated that an mr60 can be added, but only as an access point. I'm not sure what that means in terms of the mesh network. Does that mean that other ms60s cannot connect to it (daisy chain)?

Basically it boils down to you can't run 2x MR60s on the same network (in router mode) as only 1 can be controlling the mesh.
If you have a 2nd one, you can use it in access point mode but it won't integrate with the mesh. It needs to be set on a different channel and (preferably) a different ssid so it doesn't create interference.
If you want to buy the kit and use the satellite, that will fully integrate. It can sync with different systems.
then you have the option of using the MR60 as a backup (since you'll have a bit of $ into satellites) or sell it and offset some costs.
