What Timing for Failure - MR70

These things rarely break beyond recovery.
What kind of company would put that kind of planned obselence in, and then make phone support not last as long as the warranty?
None. But all brands have their limits for support and warranties.
In many countries, especially outside North America, the law sets warranty protection at well over a year.

Moved the satellites, lots of re-syncing, power cycling all units. Plumbed the depths of the app.
One thing that just occurred is that now the app doesn't see the satellites, where it did before. It also wasn't allowing me to update the firmware, but now that is working also and I did that. I'll be going home in a few hours to check on it and try to re-sync again. I've poked around now and found a better brand that will give me a longer warranty, so if it doesn't work out I'll be moving on.
