If you are looking at the router's logs are notoriously unreliable.
Netgear's firmware is great at creating false reports of DoS attacks.
If these events are slowing down your router, that may be because it is using up processor time as it writes the events to your logs. Anything that uses processor power – event logging, QoS management, traffic metering – may cause slowdowns. Disable logging of DoS attacks and see if that reduces the problem. This does not prevent the router from protecting you from the outside world.

I finallly fixed it i disabled the dos protection called spectrum they switched out the wire because it was corroded, after alot of research i upgraded my LAN cable from 5e to cat 8 internet started running great, i had over 20 devices connected to my wifi the upgrade helped, i did full reset on router and modem and worked like charm.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
