Xbox uses all bandwidth on network

So to start things off I have a nighthawk MR60 and I work from home and use a PoE injector for my desk phone which means my phone runs off the internet. This would be fine normally but recently my brother has connected to one of the satellites through an Ethernet connection and while i work he will update his xbox games. During these updates the xbox uses all of the available bandwidth and makes my work phone unusable and he refuses to stop his updates. QoS is set up and his xbox is set to low and all my work devices are set to the highest priority but this does not help whatsoever. Is there anyway i can set a bandwidth limit to his xbox and ONLY his xbox?

The nuclear option would be to use the Nighthawk app to turn off his xbox access when you are busy.

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.
