Just bought new netgear modem and router seperatly. I disconnected all old stuff and connected new modem (connected to internet) and router xr500 also shows (connected to internet) now when i get into setup i choose the reccomended setup cuz i dont know how anyother way. In setup it searches for wifi on my phone it sees the router but when trying to actually get wifi the lights goes red then white then red and back n forth the times out saying no internet though all lights say has internet connection. Im at a loss idk what to do. Even computer hardwired will not connect all saying no intenet. Im at the point of smashing **bleep** with a hammer please if yall can help id love to use this router setup. Thanks in advance!

- Have you actually finished the entire setup wizard to the point past the registeration window? If you haven't done this then you won't get internet until you've completed the setup wizard. Access the interface, if the wizard appears then complete it, if not then go to Internet Setup in Settings and click apply again.
