Accessing X8000 Settings when set as Access Point

A couple ways to try.
1. connect to the extender either via wifi or ethernet. Type in mywifiext.net
2. Look in the XR700's attached devices list. It should list the ip address for the ex8000. Use this to access it.

I have not found a way to see 'connected devices' using the routerlogin.net tool that works with the XR700 and instead used the DumaOS tool which shows the network map. I can see the x6 on the map and it say that the IP is 10.0.0.8 - cannot click on it - however when I type that adddress into my browser, it eventuall times out and says, "Can't reach this page". I really have no way to know if the x6 is acting like and access point to the XR700 or not at this point.
