I just tested this today.
Pros: easy setup, good features when used with many devices in the house
Cons: seems to be a couple ms slower latency than my old R6300 on speedtest.net test, the extender does not seem to extend the guest network, the extender adds a couple ms to speedtest.net latency when used as an extender (not wire access point).
Latency maybe increased when in extender mode. Lots of processing here when in extender mode. :smileywink:
