i Can not switch my setting from 5 to 2.4 so this smart will work? How do I do it? Jim

What router are you using? model number?
What smart device exactly are you using?
If you go to netgear.com/support/ and type in your router model number, there'll be manuals that have smart connect and wifi settings that walk you through making these changes. Again, it depends on your router.
When you do set it up, if the smart device is only 2.4ghz, make sure your setup device (phone) is on the 2.4ghz for setup.
