Before and how to start up perfect LAN
Ok the fiber is on its way and i want to remake my wifi and LAN from scratch
I have got the XR700 Nighthawk and i love it so now i want to set it up to med my master point.
The scenario is:
1. Fiber 600/300 comes directly from converter into XR700 that is on the first floor in our house. And there is also a GS108 siwtch. for multimedia center and gaming center.From the XR700 i have Cat6A going up to second floor and there is a GS108 Switch.
2. I have 2 old Asus N12 Repeteaters/AP and 1 Asus 51U Router/AP i want to use and extend the wifi
I have security system 6 1080P cams and a NVR some use wifi 2.4 and some use LAN
What do i want? :-)
I wnat to use the Asus 51U as AP and the 2 other N12 as repeters.
Cams goes into and conects to N12 and computer on second floor goes into GS108 switch
How should i set it up in my XR700 to get optimal use and coverage???

- Glad to hear you're loving it! Well the XR700 should have fantastic range so it really depends on the capabilities of those devices. Realistically is your house big enough that you essentially need 4 devices giving out WiFi?
