Black Ops 4 PS4 Pro Lan disconnecting XR500
I am randomly getting kick out of games due to a "Lan not connected" message when it is clearly connected. It boots me from the game and almost instantly I am able to join another game no problem. ...

How can I get a refund from netgear for this router?

When you said that the PS4 Pro was disconnecting, I thought that I recognised the issue from my own PS4 Pro, which occasionally had a problem where it thought the LAN cable had been unplugged. In order to fix this, I had to replace the LAN cable, and that seemed to sort it out.
However you also mention that the router itself loses connection. That's more concerning. Just to clarify, do you have a modem at all in your house, or does Google Fiber not require one?

The router doesn't actually show that it's losing connection the interface (webpage) disconnects and reconnects but nothing else goes down.

Google Fiber comes with a fiber jack and a network box. The fiberjack is how the optical signal comes into the house the network box is the both router and modem. I have configured the XR500 to replace the network box.

The issue with the LAN cable is quite a common one for PS4, check the PS4 port itself and see if it has any pins out of alignment. I assume also that WiFi works fine?- Consumer0129383Oct 29, 2019Luminary
I never login through LAN IP. I only go to routerlogin.net.
It's not the PS4 port I've checked it. None of the devices connected through WIFI have had an issue. Only the PS4 and just recently the interface. So either it's the router (which I don't think it is) or some how my internet is compromised.
- Netduma-FraserOct 30, 2019NetDuma PartnerI appreciate you don't login that way but for troubleshooting purposes could you see if it works that way? If it does then I think it is temporarily looked connection to the routerlogin.net address. That could be due to a Firewall/Anti-Virus or Adblocker potentially seeing it as an outside URL that it doesn't trust. Give your PS4 a static/reserved IP and if it's a lease issue that should resolve the disconnections.
