Blinking Red/Green Light for Globe Icon

For the past two days, when I wake up in the morning and go into my home office, the globe icon on my XR1000 is flashing Red/Green.  The internet and wifi is working with great upload and download speeds, but it is bothering me that the router is doing this.  It has never done this before and that light has always been white.   I will unplug the router and reboot it and the light will return to white, but overnight, it will go back to Red/Green flashing.

I currently have the 1.0.0.68_1.0.54 firmware installed (for over a year).  I know a new firmware was just released but I'm hesitant to install it since it is so new.

I checked the logs and I see a bunch of [DoS attack: RST Scan], [DoS attack: Fraggle Attack], [DHCP IP: (192.168.1.7)] to MAC address ]. etc. and other things but I'm just not experienced enough to know if these are normal or not.

I use a new Macbook Pro with a hardline connection.  A PS5 with a hardline connection.   My TVs, cameras, and everything else not in my office are on the wifi.   Again, no issues with speeds, just bothering me with the light flashing.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Should I download the new firmware and then factory reinstall?

What is the device at 192.168.1.7?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

If the internet LED on the XR is not keeping WHITE, then something is going on with the ISP side of this possibly.

Has a factory reset on the router and setup from scratch been performed?

I would disable IP address tracking on the mac book to see if this stops the fraggle log entry.

You have a modem with a 2.5Gb WAN port, I'd get you a CAT6A STP cable in between the modem and the XR router.

I'd have the ISP check into any and all signal line issues that maybe causing odd problems on the XR and thus seeing this odd LED behavior with the Internet LED. It maybe reporting that there is some odd problem between the XR router and what's coming the the ISP.

Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.
