Blinking Red/Green Light for Globe Icon

Netduma-Fraser  but the internet LED was blinking red/green.  That is not listed in that link you provided.

Is it safe to download the latest firmware (Firmware Version 1.0.0.72 - Hot Fix) that was released on 2/20/24?

    If you have the V1 variant of the XR1000, yes, give it a go. 
    I'd do a full on factory reset and setup from scratch after the router processes the FW. I'd also power OFF the iSP modem for 1 minute then back ON, then complete the setup wizard.

    Yes it's safe, it's just a security update. In System Information it will tell you if you're on V2
