Yes it can be used in any country. You should check WiFi channel restrictions that your country may have also.

Do all the XR500 (the mass production units) variants support changing the country settings, so the correct channel/DFS/TFS/power settings are active, and the correct country is advertised with the beacon?

    I believe they're region locked but can't say for sure.

      This would be prohibitive. Needless to say - this does and will lead to consumers operating routers in illegal configurations.

      PS. Quoting with "@ username" link is still prohibied, too.
