Cannot connect to most EU community servers in Valve Games
Having issues with connecting to most if not all EU community servers in CS2 and even other games. I am using a XR1000v2 and its firmware is upto date, and strict mode on geo filter is already disabl...
so ive found the solution. recently a online safety act was passed in the uk, which is interfering with the connection of certain ips which can only be bypassed via vpn etc.
At the top of the page where you've added your device switch Filtering off/switch to Spectating Mode or just delete the device you've added there
yeah there are no devices added there, and i added and even disabled the filtering and tried it too, it still doesnt work
Connect your PC directly to your ISP modem/router so you bypass the XR1000, do you still have the issue then?
The issue doesn't persist if I do this.
What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to? Have you set it to modem/bridge or put the XR in its DMZ if applicable? When did the issue start exactly, after changing a setting etc? Have you factory reset to see if it works after that with mostly default settings?
