Cannot get network prioritisation to work properly (XR500)
Hi everyone, I recently bought a XR500 Nighthawk gaming router. I cannot however get the network traffic prioritisation to work properly. Sometimes it picks up game traffic (Blizzard launcher) bu...

Hi Netduma_Jack,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Apologies, I should've mentioned that I had already set the anti-bufferbloat to "Always".
As for the priority stuff I deleted all the rules I had set up. I've also added custom ports for World of Warcraft.
I've also added the recommended ports for Steam (which include the ports needed for Call of Duty: WWII; which I play via Steam).
I have port fowarding set up for the steam ports, but not the WoW ports.

Great that sounds like it should work just fine, have you confirmed High Priority Traffic works now?

Oh sorry, it seems like some of my post got deleted.
The prioritisation works for about 1 minute after I launch each game I set ports up for; then it turns off (background packets then continue to rise and the priority packets stop rising). So when I'm actually playing, the packets are not prioritised.

There are no ports missing for WoW (it's not working properly), however I was missing one for Call of Duty. Call of Duty is working properly now.
