Cant change 3rd octet

Why are you trying to change the Subnet Mask and 3rd Octet? Your 255.255.0.0 SNM is a B Class network and would not be supported on a C class network. Does 10.0.0.2 starting IP address not work?
Doesn't default 192. and subnet 255.255.255.0 not work?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
