Cant connect switch to XR100 wifi
For some reason, i still cant connect my switch to wifi. I have been at this for months now and still no solution. Nintendo says its the ISP, then ISP says its netgear. Just going arounds in cirlces....
Check the Device Manager, if the Nintendo Switch appears with a black circle it has been blocked so click that then click unblock on the panel that appears. If you're using Smart Connect for WiFi that could be a cause, in which case disable that and see if you can connect manually to 2.4/5GHz.
- The switch isn’t blocked under the device manager. And I don’t use smart connect. I’ve Gone as far as opening up my firewall and it still won’t connect.
Does the Switch show up in Device Manager? If you change it's Device Type to something else, like Games Console, are you then able to access the internet on it?
- It does show up in device manager. I tried changing the device name and device type but still nothing. I’ve been told that it’s blacklisted, how do I remove that?
