COD BO4 Multiplayer Issue
Hi, Since couple of weeks, I can not play with any Call of Duty Game (BO4, WW2, etc.) It says no connection with COD servers. I checked it from PC, PS4, XBOX, the problem is the same, can't connect...

What is the mfr and model of the ISP Modem?
Does this modem have a DMZ when in router mode?
Sounds like there is a problems at the ISP modem or ISP services...

I'm not getting any results for it searching for it in English, have a look online there are probably people who have used another modem with that provider.
- MRoweMay 04, 2019Guide
FURRYe38 Yes, It has DMZ, but did not work regarding my game issue, when I put my console in .
C6250EMR Firmware VersionV2.01.05Netduma-Fraser, unfortunately, I did not find any english text regarding my provider. - Netduma-FraserMay 04, 2019NetDuma PartnerDo you require PPPoE or anything to connect to the internet? It might be worth seeing if you could borrow a modem from someone briefly and seeing if it works on your connection and the router, if so then you could buy a different modem.
- MRoweMay 04, 2019Guide
"Do you require PPPoE or anything to connect to the internet?" NO
Yep, FURRYe38 mentioned Cable Modems (NGs CM 1000/1100 or Arris SB 6183 or SB8200 or Motorola MB 7420 or 8600) I will try one of them... That could be an option... But I still do not understand what has changed so that COD servers are not available in the game, because I did not change anything.
Thanks.
- Netduma-FraserMay 04, 2019NetDuma PartnerYeah let us know what happens with a different modem, it certainly is very strange. You could try changing your DNS though I don’t think that would make much difference.

I managed to borrow a cable modem (MB7420 16x4 Cable Modem), a little help went well but I have to say the situation is the same as before regarding Call of Duty (all) multiplayer online services.
Symptom is the same. Every games run perfectly in online except all COD, I had a conversation with Activision , I asked them to confirm that again I am not banned, I am not banned , never been, I have checked my profiles , everything is OK with that.
I can still run any COD in only one case: if I put the console directly on the cable modem, and I set the cable modem into "NON Router" mode, but there is a strange thing I see not OPEN NAT but STRICT, and yet the multiplayer is moving..
I saw something about PEA mode that ISP may know and set, but my ISP completely refused and said they check everything, all the ports are open, they can't have\see any problems..
This is a really unique problem, I know , but the family has been playing this game for years.... I never experienced like this..
That is all I can say now.... - Netduma-FraserMay 11, 2019NetDuma PartnerThis issue really makes no sense, if a factory reset does nothing as well then it shouldn't be any particular settings that could have caused it. You're not running a VPN or anything extra like that?
- MRoweMay 11, 2019Guide
I agree with you. Reset for my Router and ISP router was done. ISP Modem replaced for a borrowed one, my XR500 repleaced ny Linksys AC 1200, but everything remains the same, nothing helped... I am not using VPN, however one time was set pure VPN, but not now, and there was reset, and another Home Router as well..I think I have no any extra thing, and not set anything that could cause this problem.. as I mentioned one day I got up and met my unique .. special problem, from my side nothing has changed.
How ever , I checked my XR500 logs, and I have DOS attacks like this,
But it can not cause the problem, Can it?

No those DoS entries are very normal, it won't be to do with that. - MRoweMay 11, 2019Guide
I have upgraded XR500, after restarted ISP kabel modem and my XR500. Still not connected to COD servers, but totally different Error CODE came up than previously..attached the picture.
By the way, Can I keep this new upgrade? - Netduma-FraserMay 11, 2019NetDuma PartnerYes you can.
Theres quite a few potential fixes located here from what I can see: https://community.callofduty.com/t5/Infinite-Warfare-Support/How-to-fix-error-code-32770/td-p/10078565
Recommend you take a look through and fix them, some are simple such as need to verify Sony email address or play a LAN game then quit then play online. - MRoweMay 12, 2019Guide
Thank you for your help Netduma-Fraser
I will check everything, and what you wrote..
Thanks again - MRoweMay 23, 2019Guide
Dear Netgear Support,
I think I found something and I do hope you can help me. My ISP checked everything, (Cable modem, port scanning) They said everything is OK, after that, I was very desperate because I tried everything through, at least I thought. I borrowed a home router, Linksys AC1200, and replaced my XR500 agai. In the Linksys AC1200 Dashboard I set BO4 ports in the port forwarding , turn off UnPn and set the Media Prioritization for Playstation Network and input the BO4 ports for it, and PS4 BO4 worked. You can see the attached Linksys pics. After this tried to do the same on my Nighthawk XR500, turn off Upnp, set port forwardin and set the Traffic prioritization although I don't know this is the same as in Linksys the Media Prioritization (attached picture) So please I think you knowledge is needed here because as it turned out my router (Nighthawk XR500) did not go to Call of Duty online services. Help me please. - Netduma-FraserMay 23, 2019NetDuma PartnerSo it's a port issue, you've tried putting the console in the DMZ haven't you as well? Did you try the suggestions from the link I gave also?
- MRoweMay 24, 2019Guide
on My Nightawk XR500: I set everything as previously wrote. tried with DMZ and without that ports..for 3 weeks, nothing helped
on borrowed Linksys: I did not set DMZ, just ports and media streaming , and Call of Duty and every COD is working well
MY question is: my XR500 could not handle COD online services, whatever I set UpNp, or without that or set ports , DMZ.. I tried the all settings, that mentioning here.. the another router simple could handle that.. PLease, give me usable advice.. If it is needed I will write everything again my settings, but belive me I tried everything on my XR500Yes, I tried that link you gave me, thanks. but it did not help. Call of Duty Online is massively not available if I use my XR500, saying that I am connected to PSN network or Xbox live , but not connected Call of Duty online services. but yesterday when I tried out the mentioned Linksys router everything went well, saying that I am connected to PSN network or Xbox live , and connected Call of Duty online services, the connection was fast and stable.
Again, sorry for my lots of question , and thanks for helping me, but I would like to have solution for this, I would like to use my XR500.

Out of the box, the XR500 should work the same as any other router. In order to make sure that your XR500 is performing correctly, please perform the following steps and see if the issue is fixed:
- Factory reset the XR500. Use the following instructions: https://kb.netgear.com/000053098/How-do-I-perform-a-factory-reset-on-my-Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-router
- Clear any DMZ settings on your modem
- Clear any port forwarding settings on your modem
- Make sure that UPnP is enabled on your XR500: Settings > Advanced Settings > UPnP > Turn UPnP On
Now test again and see if you can connect

Hi Netduma_Alex and FURRYe38
I did everything you asked, but with my XR500 Call of Duty services is not available, my profile is not loading, only with borrowed router has a success.
1.) I reseted my XR500.Firmware version: XR500 V2.3.2.40-C424a (Previously I tried all older firmware)
2.) UPnP -Enabled
While I am trying to run Call of Duty on PS4 or Xbox UPnP Portmap Table shows:
UPnP Portmap Table
Active Protocol Int. Port Ext. Port
YES UDP 9308 9308
YES UDP 3074 30743.) Port Forwarding - Disabled
4.) While I am trying to run Call of Duty on PS4 or Xbox - XR500 Log shows:
