That's nice, but with my weak psychic powers, I can't see what you
did then any better than I can see what you're doing now.

Says who? Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model
number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least).
Read. Look for "Use a Web Browser to Access the Router". Further
reading might not hurt, either.

I see no evidence that anything has changed, only a bunch of vague
assertions that some invisible thing doesn't work in some unspecified
way. Hence the requests for some actual information. Which part of
"not a useful problem description" or "actual" did you find unclear?

I disagree. Your primary problem seems to be that you are unable to
provide a useful problem description. Regarding "will not", see "not a
useful problem description [...]", above.> I see no evidence that anything has changed, only a bunch of vague

I am not being clear see below instructions from support, when i enter routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 in my browser that is loggin=ed into my network provider. It does not go any further....
log in to your NETGEAR router with a web browser:
- Launch a web browser from a device that is connected to your router's network.
- Enter routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
The router login window displays.
