You have an extender 5 feet away from the XR router?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try manual channels 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Try disabling MIMO. Then try disabling Smart Connect.
Try with out the extender and see if the same problem happens?
Hi OP - I would try furry’s great advice. Especially consider taking the extender out of your network. The XR500 has very powerful wireless so you shouldn’t really need an extender given it’s so close to your router. It’s effectively obsolete now.
