Content filtering not working

Content filetring on the XR500-block sites.
That feature only applies to HTTP and not HTTPS sites which unfortunately means the feature will not work on major sites. This is a Netgear feature and as above we have plans ourselves to do some parental control.
So I cant block the word porn? These features dont seem to do what they say. I want to block a word and cannot because of x,y or z. I think netgear needs to be more honest or at least star these so called parental controls on the box.
- That's my understanding as most sites use HTTPS now. It's a Netgear feature so you may be better off creating a ticket with them here: http://support.netgear.com/ and see if they can explain.
Does netgear not look at these issues we type?
