Directv HR24 won’t connect to XR1000 router. Says device not found.

I have Directv HR24 with the connected home adapter. I now have a Netgear Nighthawk XR1000. I cannot connect my Directv to the router. I also tried using a Directv CCK & still no luck. Everything else in the house connects. I do not get the opportunity to enter ssid or password. It just says device not found.

     Directv says this is a router issue, probably being a "gaming" router the ports won't allow Directv to access the Ethernet cable.

    In WAN Settings on the router, try toggling IGMP Proxying and then connect the device and see if it works. If not disable QoS from the Congestion Control 3 line option menu and try then.
