Disconnections Xbox one, Netgear r7000
Hello! I got problems with the Netgear r7000, i got regularly kicked out of the sessions when i play a game, as exemple fifa. People hear my voice stutter in the partychat, and poef i got disconnected. Im playing on the Xbox one. And yes my modem is on bridge mode. I dont know what to do and im pretty disappointed in Netgear, because i payed alot of money for it. I hope you people give me a solution. Im using a Netgear r7000 nighthawk, and the firmware version is, v1.0.9.88 Thank you

1. Which model modem? This is kind of key as some modes implementation of passthrough/bridge mode works poorly or not at all. If yours is one of these, sometimes your only option is putting the netgear in AP mode and running the combo device as the primary router (can disable wifi on it)
2. The R7000 isnt known to have the best firmware. The agreed upon stable/good version is the 1.0.9.42 version. Install this version, factory reset the router once its fully installed/booted back up, and then manually re-install the router. Don't use a backup. Also disable auto updates.
3. Are you gaming hardwired or over wireless? If wireless, are you on the 5ghz band? 2.4ghz is sensitive to interference and its slow.

6. What speeds do you get however the xbox is attached to the router?
