Does RAX120 replace XR500
Please forgive the bold text.
Not a router expert. Have to replace XR500 (incompatible with W11) with something as close as possible .... particularly USB ports for HDDs to be seen on home ne...

This thread is SOLVED. I have requested Moderator mark it so. Turns out, XR500 Readyshare is compatible w/ W11. I just fixed it, but don't know exactly how I did it. If you are having the same problem I did, don't give up. It's all hidden in there somewhere within W11. Good luck.

Up to you what to use and do. I've been using Private Network.
Some day Win11 24H2 is hosed up and bugged:
What I found here and posted some on:
At this point, not sure if MS will fix any of this on Win11/24H2. Seems that Win10 was working and not a problem. But thats no longer being supported as it's going EoL. Up to you if you still want to use it. I still have a dual boot Win7/Win10 PC that still works for me if I need it.
I'll get my XR500 online this week and see if this reproduces on mine.

Thank you for the link. Diligently went through all the suggestions but unfortunately no fix.

Netduma-Fraser So I loaded the last current release FW on top of what I had loaded which was a beta from your site and now I'm getting this when I attempt to access the network share as i had previously did with the beta version loaded:
I disabled ReadyShare Storage and Media Server, then re-enabled both and still has not resolved. I presume there is something changed in the current released FW from the beta that I had loaded prior. Any chance you can take a look or have someone check this? Or do we need to get with NG on this? DarrenM BH_C

Apologies, the nested comments are easily missed, there is no changes from us in the latest public release and in terms of latest DumaOS I would suggest the beta. ReadyShare is a pure NG feature though so not something we've ever been involved in or changed

Need to explain something. I am in my 80th year. If they take down a stop sign and put up a stop LIGHT, I turn around and to back to bed. My new RAX120-100NAS arrived today, but I have not yet unpackaged it. I am still on the XR500. I would be delighted to do anything asked of me Deal is, can't extract instructions this way. STEP BY STEP and I probably could.

So if what you want me to do begins with routerlogin.net, I can to that and you will need to step me through whatever it is. If something in W10 .... same thing. If W11. same thing.
Old age can be a very, very sad thing. It may be much wiser to "get with NG on this" Heck, I'm 1/2 terrified to even open the RAX.
