Does the Nighthawk XR500 work fine with SKY?
Hello,
I’ve ordered the Nighthawk XR500, does anyone else on the forum have this router with sky Fibre max? Does it work ok with sky? I’m not very good at networking and read that sky won’t allow other routers to be connected to there modem/router. Any advice on how to set this up would be appreciated.

- Yes you can use it with Sky, you're right in that they're not keen on third party routers. If you have any trouble with setting it up with Sky then we can help you with that, let us know here if that is the case.

Thanks for your reply, no doubt you’ll be hearing from me again. I was hoping to just plug all the correct wires in place and it work. Probably won’t be as easy as that.- Hello again,
So I’ve got the XR500 all linked up and seems to be working. My Nat Type has changed to moderate now though in game. Is there anything I can do to get this back to open?
