Ok, thanks for letting us know. Have never seen this kind of behavior and presume something in the switch maybe got hung up on something and needed to be power cycled and disconnected. Keep an eye on it. If it happens again, I would change out the switch for something better.
Please mark your thread as solved so others will know.
Enjoy. :smileywink:

So for some reason after doing the unplugging of everything connected to the switch the speeds seem fine (Currently) for how long i have no idea, all the cables i use are cat 6 so i know they should be fine, when looking at the XR500 the light is white so that means it should be gigabit right? looked at the switch and some of the light were orange which would suggest it wasn't giving out the gigabit speed?
2 PCs connected to the switch.

Tried a different 10m cat 6/7 cables same issue, my pc has built in WiFi so checked WiFi and was getting 421mbs down and 37 up. Then on wired was getting 20mbs down and 27 up.
Tried changing cables from switch to desktops no change. This issue only occurs when more than 1 wired connection is active.
So for example when 1 pc is in use they have full internet speed and logging onto the router (XR500) the link speed shows 1000mbits, so I turn a 2nd wired connection then the speed is throttled and the router shows the switch link speed at 100mbits.
Hope that makes it more clear?

And when these two pcs are connected directly to the XR router with out the switch being connected show the same thing?
- toxicpandaAug 20, 2019TutorI've only got one cable long enough from the XR to switch upstairs, but I did try one pc on and then my pc on using the WiFi and it worked fine without the issues

Just curious, if this switch is the possible cause of what your seeing. Need to try this with out the switch in the mix, if possible.
