Exspress VPN not working right on xr500 router
Hello, so I just got the exspress vpn. I looked up how to connect to it on the nighthawk xr500 router and it said to go to hybrid vpn and then vpn then advanced put the username and pass in and then t...
- I figure out my problem. I accidentally deleted a letter on the config file. So I redownloaded the config file compared them and found that a letter was missing so that was my fault. So now it work. sorry about that.

Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
