Failed firmware update and now can’t factory reset
So I’m at a loss, I could t get DumaOS working for the longest time and happened to see a firmware update. Since I couldn’t remember my password I figured I’d just restore to factory settings and go f...
So I’ve tried all the suggestions that I can find including the tftpd64.exe. Couldn’t get it to work at first had to have the power led on the router blinking white before an transfer would take place. Seemed like I did get the new firmware on the router but it still is bricked. Going to try and put an older firmware on it and see if that works.
Only thing I haven’t tried is the nmprflash method and that might be a bit beyond me.
The firmware update the got corrupted was done within DumaOS hard wired to the router. I still don’t see how a firmware update can so thoroughly damage something. Just frustrated at this point with a $250 brick that I can’t us for tv, internet or my house security...🤷♂️

Before you did the 30-30-30 which I would necessarily recommend did you still have access to the interface? If you refreshed could you proceed? Once you've done TFTP see if you can access via 192.168.1.1 not routerlogin.net if you can't then just hold the reset button for 30 seconds, wait 2 minutes then try to access. The nmpr method is basically the same as what you did with TFTP, the instructions on the page should be okay to follow.
