You have changed your ISP?
Did you reset the XR1000 when you switched?
You need to get it to forget any settings inherited from your old ISP.

- Netduma-FraserAug 21, 2022NetDuma PartnerJust to clarify, you're not using a router in addition to the XR currently? Where are you testing the speeds exactly, on Connection Benchmark or speedtest.net? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu ≡ do you get higher speeds then?
- LamontagneSep 16, 2022AspirantUpdate, I always test with a wired connection and I use fast.com. I I had a Fidium technician come out the other day because no matter what I did I could not get a download speed above 600. The only time I could is if I unplugged the modem plugged it back in and immediately tested, I could get 900 to 1000. Half hour later I would test again and it would be back at 600. The technician tested everything before the modem and he was getting 900 to 1000 speeds. Once he plugged into the modem, he too was only getting 500 to 600 speeds next step we connected to Fidium WiFi modem they gave me and when he tested the speeds he was getting 900 to 1000. Definitely something wrong with the modem not sure if it’s my settings, I don’t mess with it too much. Decided to buy another nighthawk xr1000. Will update once I receive it.
