What devices are you using for speed testing?
Are you getting to spec speeds at the ISP modem or ONT with out the router connected?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
What configurations are set under Advanced Settings/Advanced/Advanced Wireless?
Make sure the MIMO and Beamforming are enabled.
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

I'm testing using the downloaded speed test.net app on my computer and phone located maybe 4 feet from the router. Getting the full speed straight from the modem, yes.
Firmware: XR1000V2 1.1.0.16_2.1.25
Modem: Spectrum DOCSIS 3.1 eMTA
I am using CAT6 cables and set the channels to the ones you recommended.
So far it's still in the 400 range. Please let me know if you have any other ideas!

5G signal has not improved at all.
I've checked wifi and there is no interfering signal in my area.- Netduma-FraserSep 21, 2024NetDuma PartnerDo you have Smart Connect enabled or disabled?
Ensure the router is in an elevated position - not on a metal surface
Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible
Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
Then see if that improves it. What is the device you're testing the WiFi speeds on also?
